Hi there crazy bloggers ! Yes, it's been a long time... I've been keeping busy by many things, but hey I'm back for a new shot. I'm pulling aside my Loyd's walk because I want to do it in 2D, and takes time when you're not a 2D animator...
Here's the storyline of my new shot.
Chicago, 1926. Little Jimmy is on stage to sing “Thrill in my bones”, his best song at “Le Loup Bleu” a well-known jazzy bar, very select. He’s nervous, because the great Armstrong is in the public, having a diner with his wife Lil and the Hot Five.
Being part of the famous Hot Five is his dream, he wants to impress them with a cool move. But earlier in the repetition he fell off when doing the step. He’s a little afraid to miss it in front of those top guns…
Shh shh ! Blackout.
Jimmy grabs his saxo and stands in front of the crowd. A shower of light light him up…
“Thrill in my bones,
Flows when she’s close,
Thrill in my bones,
Kills me when she’s gone,
(..)
…
Watch out for the final step at the end of the song !! …
